Emma began her accounting journey at Ruddicks in November 2011 but left in 2014 to gain experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm, where she focused on Self-Managed Superannuation Fund audits and compliance, in addition to tax and accounting. Emma re-joined Ruddicks in June 2019 and now has several years of experience in public practice accounting.
Emma has a Bachelor of Business from University of Tasmania (majoring in accounting and human resource management) and was admitted as a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) in September 2015.
Emma lives with her partner Glenn and their three fur babies - two dogs named Benji and Bruno, and a rabbit named Thumper. When she isn’t working, Emma enjoys spending time with family and reading books from the crime, horror and fantasy genres. Her favourite author is Stephen King.
