The State Government has established a Community Infrastructure Fund to support community infrastructure initiatives throughout Tasmania. The Fund will be open to not-for-profit organisations (incorporated or registered under company law), local councils (including council-owned businesses) and private sector businesses to assist with capital costs associated with the construction of new, or the upgrading of existing, infrastructure that will benefit the community.

Expression of Interest applications for the Community Infrastructure Fund are now open with Minor Grants closing on 3 February 2017 and Major Grants closing on 31 March 2017. Further information regarding the Fund and application details is available on the Department of State Growth website here.
